What's Up with the ACT?

The English section has two question types: usage/mechanics and rhetorical skills that are intermixed with each other on the exam.

The mathematics section covers pre-algebra, algebra, geometry, and trigonometry.

Science reasoning questions test your ability to design and interpret simple scientific experiments.

The reading portion of the ACT measures your ability to understand passages in four subject areas.

All questions are multiple choice with four answer choices. Interested in free online test prep for the ACT? Try our totally FREE tutorial!
